Time Basis for Rates

It is our practice to base rates upon one shift of 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, or 160 per moth of a consecutive 4-week period.

All rentals will be for the exact period of the rental – invoiced in full months with the overage invoiced I full weeks or days at the agreed upon weekly or daily rates. Partial months will not be prorated. All rentals will be invoiced at the lowest applicable rate.

Overtime charges will be invoiced at the published overtime rates. “Overtime” will be defined as any usage of rented equipment for more than 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, or 160 hours per month as indicated on the hour meter of the equipment.

Normal Wear and Tear

Normal wear and tear is that which would be expected to result from the use of the equipment under normal circumstances. Provided the equipment is properly maintained and serviced. The customer is responsible to see that the equipment is properly serviced when on his job site or plant. The customer is also responsible for flats or damage to rubber tires.

Fuel and Lubricants

In all cases, the customer bears the costs of fuel and lubricants.

Condition of Equipment

The equipment rented is to be delivered to the customer in good operating condition and is to be returned to the company in the same condition as delivered, less normal wear. Where excess cleaning or repairs are necessary, there may be additional charges for this cleaning and repair.

Freight and Charges

The rates in this schedule are all FOB from the company’s warehouse or shipping point. The customer pays the freight or drayage charges from shipping point to destination and return.

Rental Period

On all rentals, the rate starts when equipment leaves the company’s warehouse and stops when it is returned to said warehouse.

Payment, Taxes, and Insurance

Rentals are payable in advance except approved credit customers and subject to the terms and conditions of the company’s rental contract. No insurance, license, sale or use taxes are included in these rates.
